I think you will find it's a "you get what you pay for" market.
We have had 2 lots of 'cheap' lights, they don't tend to last more than a
few months before becoming so pale as to be useless.

Whichever type you buy, it won't hurt to clean the solar panel and change
the NiCad battery with a fully charged one once in a while.
A fully charged battery will give the outfit a new lease of life while the
original battery is being charged up.
