Has anyone any experience of solar
garden lights? How long do they last?

I did succumb and bought a couple from Poundland today. The mushroom on a
stick type.

They've been on a while so far - seem ok. Let's see how long they last.
Thanks for all your advice

I don't mean to be rude but why do you want them? Unnecessary lights at
night confuse and damage moths (which navigate by the light of the moon)
and stop you and yours enjoying a clear vision of the night sky - the
stars. We've used lights in the garden at night but only to guide people
from the church next to us up the path to the house for some parish 'do'
or other and that's maybe twice or three times a year. Lovely velvety
darkness and the glimmer of the stars is magical.

Your location sounds idyllic, but a couple of solar powered lights wouldn't
make a bit of difference to the light polution we currently enjoy here!

Things were improved slightly when several of my lights were nicked !
