The only others I can think of off the top of my head is Rosa banksiae
lutescens and R. b. lutea but they're not very scented, though do have
some perfume. They also flower on old wood so no heavy pruning is a
good thing. Had you considered a Clematis flammula which is
wonderfully scented and terribly pretty with its tiny white flowers?

Thanks for the suggestion Sacha. I have several clematis, but not
flammula, though It's got an almondy scent hasn't it, and I wasn't too
keen when I encountered one once.
It is a rose I want, but I'm afraid yellow does not have a place in my
very small garden, except for narcissi. I saw a Rosa banksiae trained
on an old house a few years ago, and it looked wonderful, but it's
not for me. (House near Marshfield, near Dyrham Park called Ridley's
Cheer, Mountain Bower! (Yellow Book) What an amazing name!
