Hi all

Just thought I'd ask if anyone knows somewhere that
sells a good
selection of culinary herbs to plant (not from
seed).
The nurseries I've
visited have been very disappointing for herbs.

I'm in East Leeds but anywhere within 15miles would
be fine. I'm not
after anything too obscure; Moroccan Mint, Greek
oregano, Basil Mint,
broad leaf thyme, Greek sage, Mace and good old
Rosemary.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Considering the cost of fuel nowadays, might be worth
trying online:-http://preview.tinyurl.com/2vyx95k

Not wildly obscure agreed, but you need to go to a
herb specialist to
find them all in one place. As Bertie Doe says, try
on-line, you've a
better chance of getting the herbs that you need.
I've heard good
things said about these people and they appear to have
everything
apart from 'greek sage' - Salvia fruticosa formerly
triphylla. Oh -
mace is the outer husk covering of the nutmeg and is
produced by a
tropical tree (Myristica fragrans) that cannot be
grown out of doors.

Couple of seasons back, I bought 24 mixed plugs for
borders, tubs and baskets. In good condition, arrived
quickly and p+p reasonable.. This was thru' ebay and
the vendor had a 100% feedback.
These were flowering annuals and I'm not sure if ebay
sellers do herbs. Worth a try as most sellers are keen
to protect their rating score.
