You are very fortunate that your Council would pay for that, ours wouldn't.
But are they going to remove all the rabbits on your site after the fence in
erected otherwise you are fencing them in, and how about the gate into the
site, I've heard of a self managed site that got Rabbit Fencing put around
the site but forgot about the opening under the gate.

The Council aren't paying, the Allotment Association is. Also for
bringing water to the site. All will be reflected in next years rent.
And if the contractor putting the fence in doesn't allow for gates etc.
we'll shoot him and let the rabbits go!
