Default Cow Pond, The Great Park, Windsor.

" Such wonderful shots of a simple pond. I remember seeing one
something like that in Rockport Maine years ago. It was not usable
because the Camden dump which had just about filled and old quarry had
caused so much pollution that the water was more like acid than water.
They had to fence off the pond so the Belted Galaways would not be
poisoned.
Such a sad mess, and people may be doing worse today.

Thank you, it is such a beautiful spot and thankfully little known I thought
I would share it especially as I'm into water lilies anyway. If you walked
past it in winter it looks dreadful, just a muddy pond, but in summer it
comes alive.
I too know of ex beauty spots that have turned into dumping grounds, so sad,
and not least that those that do it obviously cannot see the beauty.
