There used to be lots of good ones. Systemic ones. However they have
mostly disappeared. My theory is that the manufacturers discovered
they were dodgy and have quietly dropped them & hope no-one will
notice when their teeth turn green. Or whatever.
Nowadays they are all contact insecticides. I put nets over my
cabbages to keep the butterlies off.
