Be assured that R'barb is prone to HF. It's not all that common, but
it happens. Alas, a number of gardens in our road have an HF problem :~(.

I Scroogled it and found that it is indeed so.

In which case, I suggest you get yourself a big container (at least the
size of a plastic dustbin, but preferably bigger), drill/burn holes in
the bottom, place on blocks and fill it with nice things, and plant a
crown in that.

You can make it a feature...

Interesting! A sort of rhubarb bog garden ... it gives one ideas :~).
Thank you, Rusty, I'll look into that.

A good place to acquire big (*BIG*) drums is from your local fire
station - they get the foam additive in them. With a panel saw, cut off
the top. For use as a water butt, note that when the top is turned
upside-down the channel round the edge fits the sides exactly.

I already have a big water tank going spare, so I'll probably use that.
I had to smile when I read 'fire station' ... my father was a fireman,
so he would have been highly amused:~). If the tank doesn't work, I may
play the fireman's daughter card at the local fire station.

Thanks for all your help.
