I have a 5000K and a 6500K bulb, and the 6500K is 'whiter' than the
5000K (which has more of a yellowish cast). What 'color' is a 10000K
bulb (or 9600K)?
Generally speaking, the higher the number, the cooler (bluer) the light looks.
10000K is a very "white" looking light. Some people like that cool,
super-bright look, but others complain that it makes reds look pale and
washed-out.
