Had a delivery due from the builders Merchant this morning, they
promised by 8.30 am so I was down at the gate waiting by 8.20, lovely
view to steel works so I went back and got my camera.

No lory so I had a look round to see if there was any sight of my
Snowdrops, found one clump with about 1/2 inch of growth, but one Daff
with the flower bud showing and 1 Crocus in flower

I've never had a crocus this early
Found a few Jasmin nudiflorum, and that's it, the Camelias which have
flowered early Jan most years, even late Dec one year, look as if they
are a good 6 weeks off, no colour in the buds yet.
The frost was edging a lonicera, looked good

They finaly arrived at 9.15, I was frozen by then.
Had to haul everything up by hand as I had been waiting since early
Dec for the 9" double skin pipe to take the water from the field above
accross the track, as I was promised it within a week of ordering I
had dug a trench accross the track so can't get the tractor and
trailer out.
Now I have to make a bigger and deeper trench, a 9" pipe is bigger
than I thought, almost 12 inches with the extra layer.

Liked the "mood" in yur pictures, David. It made the waiting slightly
less annoying. Good luck with the digging!
