Which aquatic plants (if any) behave as perennials?
I am setting up my tank and I've read that most aquatic plants in
aquaria, even though they are perennials in their natural setting,
will behave like annuals and die off after a few months to a year.
I'd like to buy plants that, with good light, nutrients and pruning,
will survive indefinitely.
Firstly, is it true that aquatic plants are prone to dying off
(because of lack of a "dry season")? Which plants last the longest ,
and look healthiest for the longest?
Thanks.
