A tip? I don't know about that but it seems at first glance that soaking
might work prior to sowing and I will do it next year and see what happens.


We sow our spring sown broad beans in root trainers in the GH and then
plant out.

soaking may well get them going quicker, but I guess doesn't really
confer much benefit if you can just sow a couple of weeks earlier
