Snip of nice repost of Bob Walsh's article.

What have we done to deserve this? Don't you just love cut and paste
festivals? Me neither.

What is wrong with cutting and pasting. We all do it. At least Bob Walsh
cut and posted a nice article that "HE" wrote himself. Why does that bother
you?

Nobody asked for it. Why fill up rec.gardens with information that no
one asked for, especially when the information is for the googling?

Maybe we should just go back to when companies would throw up some
information and then run an ad behind it.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell "Bill Who Putters" that he doesn't have to
worry about radioactive fish from Japan anymore. There were so few
inspectors before the Republicans started whittling on the government,
that only one percent of foreign food was inspected anyway, so now they
are going to unilaterally declare Alaskan seafood safe without even
testing them.

Now if they could do that with airplanes, and nuclear power plants, we
could save some real money. Maybe I even go back to eating peanuts again.

Dept. of Defense budget: $663.8 billion
Dept. of Health and Human Services budget: $78.4 billion

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.
