I tried using plastic tie on garden labels that had a hole punched
through and a metal eye set in but after 1 night of wind they had
started to break up, the eye pulling through the label, after around 2
months there wasn't one left intact out of 100, and to add to the
problems they had blown about so were not even close to the plant they
refered to.
