We played a ceilidh for one JW couple, at the pub where they'd met 30
years before. Nice bunch, but we were a little perturbed at one dance;
TLOML (who is also our caller) told them to form up in groups of five,
four in a circle and one in the middle, which they did. Then she said
that the one in the middle was the maypole and they all sat down.
Lesson learnt, we won't be referring to that one as the Maypole Dance
at any future JW things [1], we'll call it the Hot Cross Bun as we
usually do (mind you, with JWs, should it be the Hot Spike Bun?). Oh
yes, and they said grace before the buffet, something I haven't
encountered since school.

[1] Not that I expect any.
