bother to go outside with the rubbish!
Our house used to have a sort of porchy-thing where the front door was
recessed into the front of the house and the side of the hole was a
stable-door with meters above and bins below.
When we bought the house someone had moved the front door forwards
bringing the doors indoors. I molished new doors for 'em - nice tightly
fitting doors, and that's where the recycling sits. The cupboard is
still ventilated to the outside world.
