There was a touch of mizzle here this evening but didn't even wet the
window panes. And I cannot describe how threatening the sky looked,
either. All very peculiar!


And now what a change. I don't know how much but we've obviously had
significant rain overnight - it woke me up in fact. And it's raining
lightly now.


We have rain forecast for the next seven days. It's overcast and dry at
the moment.


I had to go out to a meeting this morning. I cycle everywhere and this
was the first time I've been drenched in months (so long ago that it
wasn't actually unpleasant). There have been showers on and off all day
and the windows are getting wet once more now. I doubt it has gone more
than an inch into the beds but it's a start.
