I asked about this one last year but all that was on it at the time was a
bit of foliage insufficient for an ID. It's got some flowers on it this
year! It appears it only flowers on last year's growth. It had been rather
savagely cut down by council workman's chainsaw when they were cutting back
the berberis hedge you can see a bit of behind it, which is actually in the
park. It had grown right across the intervening path, and most of the bed,
so this bush was virtually submerged under it.
I had a bit of trouble with photos as the phone camera kept automatically
overexposing the little white flowers, but I hope this will be enough for an
idea of what it is.
