What do you want to use it for? If you're going to make jelly in it,
don't, but if it's for compost, or other gardening use, the pong
should soon disperse. *Leave it out to collect rainwater, and that
will absorb the aroma.

Try washing it out with a solution of Zoflora disinfectant.
