It would be nice to know what care it's meant to be getting, though this is

Hello

It is often seen in our garden of japan.
It's a 'scarlet Kaffir lily'.


In this country Kaffir Lily is a somewhat archaic name for Schizostylis
coccinea. That is neither an orchid, nor the plant in the photograph;
nor is the plant in the photograph an orchid.

(Wikipedia has it as Hesperantha coccinea, River Lily or Crimson Flag.)

If you've ever watch the picture of an anual meeting of Chinsese
Congress,
You will notice that many of them are placed here and there in the
hall.
