We planted a Black Butt blackberry last year, pick the first a couple of weeks ago (blackbirds have been picking them for a month :-( ) they are a loganberry cross and the fruit is about 2" long, The taste is very intense if picked when only just ripe, the amount of flavour falls of when they are fully ripe.
