BTW, back on topic, re. your well ripened peas.
The answer is to do as in days gone by. Peas were picked late and dried.
When needed they were soaked and then boiled.
Hence "mushy peas".

Treat them like haricots in other words. (More frog food)

He'll probably have too many for that. I save the one sI missed for that
purpose. They get found when I pull the vines up.
