Good morning Bob I have never grown Marigolds and no nothing about them sorry.
But Fuchsias do not like to grow indoors ,they do well out doors and thrive in the rain but do not survive the winters unless they are hardy fuchsias.
All fuchsias need protection over winter good luck.
