We have a Japanese Maple in the front garden. It normally had red colour
leaves, but for the last two years the centre parts of the leaves have gone
a bleached white, leaving red only on the outer edges.
Grateful for advice on what you think is going on please.
Chlorosis of some sort? Try giving a feed with sequestrene, or epsom
salts. Is it planted in regular garden soil, and if so what's that
like? Some maples have chlorosis troubles when the soil is too clay,
sequestrene will usually help.
Don't fertilize otherwise.
