I am Ernest Clayton's granddaughter, Nancy. Along with my sister, Eugenia, we have recently launched a business, Ernest Clayton Wildflower Images (
www.ernestclaytonwildflowers.com), that is dedicated to educating the public about our grandfather and his large body of work and making prints and other products available for sale. We started this year by offering giclee prints of 12 of his wildflowers for sale and hope to eventually branch off into notecards and possibly calendars. A portion of the profit from sales supports the San Francisco Public Library, the San Anselmo Public Library (this is the town north of San Francisco where Ernest Clayton lived with his wife Annie and their 2 kids), and the California Native Plant Society. We're having a lot of fun with this project and we hope to make our grandfather's beautiful work more accessible to the public.
