Either that or I was feeling particularly weak yesterday. Some pretty
big spiders too. (Orb ones I think with huge backsides!)

They'd also reclaimed across the front path (just a couple of threads)
within an hour of my son going through it this morning. Should I be
worried about how many we have round here yet?

Picture this! Retractable clothes line. Did some washing yesterday
evening. Pulled line out of reel and attached to hook at other end of
path. Hung washing and left it out overnight to get an early drying
start. By this morning the spiders had started to get at it. I don't
know whence they came!

I've noticed round here they have blue chest bits and the big bulging
backends have little red triangles on them front and back! They're big
enough to be clearly visible from about 50 feet away.

Take a pic (Or find one on google images)

I've had a look - the ones in our garden are mostly Orb spiders but
are particularly big this year.
I'm itching thinking about them now though (probably cos there's a pic
of some woman with a spider on her face )
