I have thought the same. Bay grows as a weed here, we are forever pulling up
Bay saplings! Make super hedging plants ;-) That and a beautiful shiny dark
leaved Holly, complete with berries too ;-)
Don't know where they come from, the birds I expect, but who cares? ... ;-)
