Default Peas starting to climb-a miracle

Late in autumn I sowed 100 or so Hurst Greenshaft as a bit of an
experiment.
They have started to climb now. I hope that means peas extra early, though
I know they are not an early variety.

The early pea Kelvedon Wonder (which never seems to have over 3 peas per
pod) is a non starter.

It seems to me that a gardener can not rely on the information given on the
seed packet. Warrany? Or lies?
