Default Move your garden above the floodwaters

Whilst I can see the benefit for someone who cannot bend, there is a
certain irony in the notion of covering your veg patch with decking
and then covering your decking with your veg patch.

OTOH, Baz, just think that for about £3 grand you could buy 24 of
these and lift your veg patch above the floodwaters! Then all you need
is some corresponding construction to grow spuds in. And a wind
deflector to stop everything being blown over and snapped off in the
breeze.

The RSPB will thank you because the pigeons don't need to fly so low
to get at the brassicas. Copper bands round the legs will sort the
slug problem. And you'll only need to swear every other year when the
legs rot and the whole contraption falls into the swamp just before
harvesting time.

It's the gardening ark with room for 2 plants each of peas, carrots,
beetroot ...

Cheers, Jake
