I signed up for the free trial over the weekend and was very impressed
(having converted from Google Groups - goodness me...) - I've paid my dues

I pay 10 euros/year for news individual net and never see any spam at all.
You can pay in pounds, dollars, any currency and it is easy to do if you
go to their website.
