To most people the WWW *is* "the internet" and is a 21st Centaury
invention not a product of the cold war dating from the early 1980's
(or before depending...). Me, I've been on the internet since 1992,
about the same time that first few hundred pages of the WWW were
being put online. Searching for stuff was fun back then with Gopher
or WAIS, not that there was much to find!
