Default Sun and skylarks

The sun is shining! Well it is over our side of the country atm, in
between passing clouds. Not sure how long it's forecasted to last but
I've got an afternoon free and I'm going outside to make the most while
it does.

What's made it even better is while I was hanging out washing I could
hear a skylark hovering up there somewhere, warbling away over the
fields behind the houses opposite us.

I thought it was a skylark singing last weekend but I couldn't spot it
before. This time I got out the binoculars to make sure. We used to get
them regular as clockwork every summer in the field behind us but
they've been missing for a several years now. Hopefully they'll come
back there as well another year. It's a good sign!
