A friend passed a branch of this very beautiful plant, the lady in the

Hi Sheila,

It's just like a plant I grow in my garden. I bought seeds for
Meadowsweet, Filipendula ulmaria. It is very beautiful.
However, I googled for meadowsweet just to be sure I'd got the name
right but the pics on line don't look quite like mine, so I wonder if I
was sent the wrong seed?? It looks, as Sacha says, a lot like Aruncus.
I don't think it's an Astilbe.

I have to say I've seen very mixed images for Meadowsweet, so it could
still be that.
