Yes to not watering and merely misting rather gently. Don't water it
again till the root ball is dry.

And take it away from the dark corner of the kitchen and put it in a
North window - ie give it more light but don't put it in full sunlight,


If it were mine I would cut off the worst of the yellow leaves. They
are not going to recover but are sapping the plant's strength.
