Default Pecan tree problem...

Pecans do not get caught very often. Around my house they are even
slower than mesquite to leave out in the spring. My experience is
that the trees that have sufficient resources will produce new growth
from secondary leaf axils, but it will take up to a month depending on
the weather. (the recent dry spell is probably not helping much)

Perhaps one of the professional arborists who post can chime in with
something better informed.
