According to demon who have been migrating customers in shifts from last
march, it's so people can get their emails via phoned etc. Not much use
if you can't even get the new address to accept the blinking things in
the first place!!

I have now put Thunderbird on an old lap top so once i find a way of
extracting my addresses out of TP I might think about changing
