Oh don't give me something else to worry about! A friend from (old)
Rhodesia told me they should all have upturned trunks for good luck.
That is supposedly so they can offer flowers up to Buddha using their
trunks,presumably a tradition that applies more to Asian Elephants.
How interesting. Now I have an explanation and one that makes sense, too.
I'm afraid I haven't checked the ethnicity of my elephants!
The right way I was alluding to is that an elephant should always face
out of the door for the house to have good luck.
others say they should always look right.
