1471 should work on all phones. What you pay for via BT is caller display
and a list of the last 50 callers etc. That's usually in a package with
the service that lets you bounce your phone calls to another number
temporarily.

1471 doesn't work if you have Virgin. It's a BT thing.
Once you decide to go elsewhere for your broadband plus phone service you
will lose it.

We are with Virgin and get 1471! Could it be a problem with the phone?
