then spray the leaves. (with RoundUp, anyway)

This is good advice for most people - but - for me - it
won't work as well ONLY because the poison oak is so thick
that I can't get roundup (glyphosate) to the plant except
at the edges - but the plant is 40 to 50 feet deep in places.
