I know it may be strange but I have a plant question.
Has anyone tried growing Yacon?

Well so far that's 2 No's.
As Chris has said I get plenty of summer rain.
One of the things I would like to know is just how big the tubers get,
On-line info doesn't really say. Just that they grow like dahlias, but
I have varieties that form nice little 4 or 5 inch tubers whilst others
will fill a bucket..
I suspect the latter will be nearer.

I got mine from Otter Farm and I was looking up their details to pass on
but the photo on this page shows them to be the size of a large potato.
