:-) sounds like ya got a good SO there BV, Leveling a pond on her
birthday....I got a 2X4 that reached across the largest part of the pond,
put a level on it and checked for level in several different places both
directions came out pretty good.
Ya see people!?!?!?! THIS IS WHY I HANG OUR HERE! Just yesterday I carried a
bunch of my tools from the living room to the storage closet downstairs,
cussing the whole way because I kept almost dropping my level. Did I mention
the stack of 2x4's in my living room from the lasts project? I had the tools
to do this and didn't even know it!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaa!!! Bob H. you are a god.
BV.
I have to tell you that my DH did the leveling in my pond.
He was out there with his level and a board. He would apply
the dirt with a trowel until it got to the proper level. I
did take a photo of the event. Wouldn't you know that the
place where he worked the hardest to level is now the area
where the pond over-flows. It's funny because I wanted him
to put a drain at that location, but he thought it was a bad
idea ;-)
