Default Charming Rockery plant

Well 15 years on it has taken over the plot it is in, this picture shows
around one sixth of the clump, it has been sprayed around the edges to
try to contain it.

It's a lovely plant to have under bushes, but it won't stay there, it's
a thug.
It's name?


Looks like Polygonum capitata. (The Americans call it pink clover.)

I've seen it "wild" (a pavement weed).

I don't know, it devoured the label many years ago.
