What on earth is it? It is about 1in. long, with orange/red and black
stripes, hairy, furry tail, and 4 unusual white blobs on its upper back.
Ut was wandering about a rose as you can see. Perhaps looking for greenfly?
I can't find it in my insects book. I don't even know what species it is.
Any info?
Caterpillar of Orgyia antiqua, the Vapourer moth
