Another glorious day here and I'm enjoying cool air through the study
window while I still can.

It's only 18c here. We have done all todays gardening before it gets
too hot later.

Apparently, it's 24C in Plymouth, so must be hotter here (no sea breeze)

Ray had to water the largest greenhouse 3 times yesterday!

That must be a hot job. Who waters Ray?

He seems to be self-irrigating, judging by the state of his shirt last
night! I do make a good g&t though! ;-)

Not into G & T but in this heat I'm dousing shandy, I found Thwaites
Dark Mild which makes a shandy with body, a can makes around 1 1/2
pints of shandy and doesn't touch the sides in this heat.Just for a
change a pint of cider shandy also goes down well.
But I have been known to drink from the hose when watering.
That's the joy of the cushy life we lead.
David @ a roasting pare to Swansea Bay

I suppose he could drink from the hose but preferably not the one
attached to the diluter!! ;-)
