Default Weed of the Week: Oxalis corniculata atropurpurea [1/1]

This little plant normally has green leaves, but it's the purple-leaved
form that infests gardens. Why? Because they sell it in garden
centres!
Once it arrives in your garden its runners root at the nodes and its
pods pop open to scatter the seeds. If you've bought it and planted it
in a rockery you can get rid of it by removing the rockery. If you've
got it between paving stones you could try a chef's blowtorch.
