Meant to mention this earlier in the year.

Many towns use those tower displays of geraniums to brighten up the
place, and very effective they are, too. This year, I've seen a few
tower displays of (I think) Dipladenia. That looks very exotic, and is
most certainly different from geraniums.

Anything else, different from the usual municipal displays, been seen in
other places?
