Hi
Could anyone recommend a shrub or plant with maybe Tango in the name
for a birthday gift for a good friend ? They love dancing rather than
the drink ! so maybe something with a dance theme in the name. They
live in the South West England, heavy clay soil but sheltered garden.
Many thanks

Pauline

There is more than one tropical hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) with
Tango in the name (e.g. 'Tango', 'Tango Queen', 'Toucan Tango',
'Maroochy Tango', 'Mango Tango', 'Blue Tango', 'Orange Tango'). But
there are two problems: firstly that they would be hard to acquire in
Britian, and secondly that you need a warm location, such as a heated
greenhouse - they're not just frost-intolerant but also
chilling-intolerant

So they wouldn't live outdoors in a garden in south west England, then?

Ah. The OP was asking for a shrub for a garden in SW England, which was
why I queried your post.
