Default High water in River Dart

We took two of the grandchildren and their father on the 'Santa

so high. It had broken its banks in a couple of places, some fields
were flooded and all the overflow drains were full. And the rain is
still hurling down while, having calmed down for a short time, the wind
is now back to gusting with enthusiasm.

Our local river Chew was high yesterday and that was before 24 hours
of rain. I'm not going to look. I'm far enough away not to be directly
affected but I'm sorry for anyone near any such rivers.
Certainly no risk of hosepipe bans!
