There's a live HD webcam of the Dam here.

Neat! I'll ask her to wave.

Did you see the sloppy toy soldiers changing the guard all morning?

No, she was working, so I figured I'd watch again tomorrow afternoon
when she's between meetings.

Today it's even damper and gloomier than yesterday. OTOH a year ago it was
snowing and gloomy.

She said it was 'nice' drizzle. But she likes Scottish weather!

Shame about the lack of gnats, midges and mosquitoes at this time of
year in NL.

Sunny days produce midges here in tropical Devon!

Sunny days? :-)

Next time the Royal Marines move/rescue cars in Cornwall they might find it
quicker if they use more than two planks. It's good entertainment doing it with
only two planks on programmes like Top Gear, but time consuming and a bit silly
in the real world.

Perhaps that's all they had available. Military funding cuts etc....!
