Default Water Lilies

Hello,

My daughter is getting married October 14th 06 and the ceromony is overlooking a lake with water lillies.

Can anyone tell me what time of year water lilies flower? I asked someone at the venue where the wedding is being held (well, you'd think they'd know) and she said it depends on the rainfall! Serious? I mean ..they are already in water... or is it the nitrogen in the rain?

I hope someone can enlighten me :-)

Thanks

Some varieties ( some of the hardy varieties ) should start flowering
in october, so you may be indeed be in luck!

Best wishes
